Seb joined Capital Cranfield as Scheme Secretary in August 2025, bringing 10 years’ experience in the pensions industry.
Seb’s background spans both in-house and third-party pension scheme administration and he was part of the project team at Royal Mail that delivered the UK’s first Collective Defined Contribution scheme.
He later moved to a large third-party administrator where he supported the Bulk Purchase Annuity portfolio. In this role, he was responsible for overseeing the administration of over 35 schemes of varying sizes, covering both Buy-in and Buy-Out arrangements. Seb led data correction work, liaising closely with key stakeholders during the Buy-in process and ensuring that benefits were updated accurately ahead of a scheme’s transition to Buy-Out.
Prior to entering the Pensions industry, Seb earned a Law Degree from Nottingham Trent University and has since achieved professional qualifications through the Pensions Management Institute and in Customer Service.
Outside work, Seb enjoys learning German and French, exploring the Lincolnshire countryside on long dog walks, watching Manchester City, travelling, and spending time with his family both in the UK and in France.
