Mel joined Capital Cranfield in July 2009 having been in the pensions industry since 1995.

Mel has been involved both on the administrative and trusteeship side of pensions since 1995 having started his career as a pensions administrator for a large local authority pension team before moving into the private sector in 1999. He has a wide variety of skill sets having previously managed a small DC wind up team whilst now being heavily involved in the internal governance team here at Capital Cranfield. He also ensures Capital Cranfield remain compliant with the AAF Framework and manages the Pensions Regulator trustee registration and tenders for legacy DC wind ups.

Mel has gained a PMI Diploma as well as being an Accredited Member of APPT. Outside of the office, he enjoys running socially having notched up a couple of marathons as well as occasional cycling.
