Ingrid joined Capital Cranfield in 2012 after many years as a fund manager, having started her career as a stockbroker.

As a Trustee Ingrid has worked as Chair, co-Trustee, and Sole Trustee representative on a range of Schemes from £10m to £3.5bn. Given her investment background she is often a member of Investment sub-committees, sometimes as Chair, and she also sits as an independent member of an Independent Governance Committee.

As a fund manager she worked for 25 years at Hermes managing mandates for the British Telecom and Royal Mail Schemes as well as third party clients.

Ingrid has a BA in English Language and Literature and is a Fellow of the CISI as well as a member of the APPT. An enthusiastic second violin player and a keen Christian, she enjoys skiing and has recently become a Chelsea season-ticket holder (the last member of her family to do so).

BACK TO TEAM

“Whilst it’s certainly helpful that a professional trustee has the relevant professional accreditation and experience – lawyer, actuary, accountant or in my case investment manager – I can’t overstate enough the benefits of associating with a firm like Capital Cranfield, with its shared wisdom, governance support and sheer breadth of experience.”
