Harus took over as Managing Director of Capital Cranfield on 1 June 2022 and leads our commercial, operational and business development activities. He joined the company in 2017 as Head of Sole Trusteeship, following seven years with Capita Pension Trustees Limited as a Professional Trustee.
He has over 11 years’ experience of working for professional trustee firms and over 25 years’ pensions industry experience. Prior to joining the ranks of professional pension trusteeship, he worked for various consultancies and in various disciplines – administration, consultancy, secretarial and research.
Harus is a regular contributor to pension publications and industry seminars. He also chaired the Association of Professional Pension Trustees for three years and and was part of the committee which produced the new PCST Code of Practice. He was also co-chair of one of the Pensions Regulator’s working groups looking at Equity, Diversity & Inclusion in the trustee market.
Outside of work, Harus presents a weekly radio show to the patients of East Surrey Hospital and has done so since 2009.
