Caroline joined Capital Cranfield in 2020, having previously been a partner at specialist pensions law firm Sacker & Partners, and a director of their independent trustee company.

Caroline’s legal background gives her a deep understanding of the pensions landscape. Her legal experience includes benefit changes, scheme closures, mergers, buy-outs, liability reduction exercises, sponsor distress and restructuring.

Caroline now acts as a professional trustee of defined benefit and life assurance schemes, involved in all aspects of governance, administration and investment.

Caroline has a degree in Law and Politics from the University of Birmingham and is a qualified solicitor. She is an Accredited Member of the Association of Professional Pension Trustees. Away from work Caroline enjoys cooking, practicing the violin and playing netball.
