Anthea joined Capital Cranfield in 2024 and has had a 25-year career in the pension industry as a pensions lawyer and law firm partner. Anthea joined us from Eversheds where she led their Leeds pensions team.
Anthea has experience advising schemes with asset values ranging from £50m to £30 billion. Anthea is experienced in Defined Benefit, Defined Contribution and public sector pension scheme work. She has particular knowledge of risk transfer and winding up and buy-out; the operation of mastertrusts and pension scheme disputes.
Anthea takes a diplomatic and collaborative approach to problem-solving; building consensus and finding pragmatic solutions. She has a first-class degree in History from the University of Aberdeen and is accredited as a professional trustee by the Association of Professional Pension Trustees.
In her free time, Anthea can be found outdoors riding her event horse, walking her three dogs or working in her garden.
