Amanda joined Capital Cranfield in October 2021 after a long career as a business lawyer, most recently as General Counsel and Compliance Officer for the Pernod Ricard SA international spirits and wines group.

Amanda has been an employer nominated trustee for over 11 years, acting as a conduit to deliver strategic projects with the aim of protecting members’ interests while working closely with the sponsor and bridging the divide between an overseas parent and a UK occupational DB pension scheme. She also has a keen interest in regulatory compliance, governance and risk management. As trustee of a complex scheme with over £4bn assets, over 30,000 members and many heritage sections which underwent a significant buy-in during 2019 (£3.8bn) she is experienced in a wide variety of complex pensions and corporate issues.

Outside pensions Amanda is working towards a qualification as an executive coach, as well as sitting on the board of Victim Support, the national charity supporting victims of crime. She is a Keeper of the Quaich, an honour awarded to those who have shown outstanding commitment to the Scotch whisky industry
