Alison has been a professional trustee with Capital Cranfield since 2012.
She represents Capital Cranfield as a trustee board member and has over 20 years’ experience of working with pension schemes.
Before working with Capital Cranfield, Alison was a pension consultant for over 20 years. She is a qualified actuary and has many years of experience advising trustees, including as Scheme Actuary, and employers on all aspects of their pension arrangements.
Alison can offer extensive and in-depth technical experience on a wide range of pension matters including valuation and funding, risk reduction and benefit changes, as well as general advice. She has practical experience of working with both defined benefit schemes and with trust and contract-based defined contribution schemes.
Alison is a well organised and logical thinker with a practical approach. Combined with her strong communication skills and wide pension experience, she is able to find pragmatic solutions for many of the issues now facing trustee boards.
