Jill Mackenzie has ten years’ experience as a trustee, board and committee chair following an extensive senior management career in complex and regulated FTSE Top 50 businesses
Jill brings her background in the leadership of mass market consumer businesses to the boardroom of the pension scheme trustee. She provides effective strategic leadership to the scheme’s investment and funding journey plan but with real commitment to rigour and quality – in governance, member experience, administration and trustee capability.
Working across DB, SC or hybrid benefits, Jill’s current portfolio is made up of schemes spanning £500m to £22bn, the common denominator being that these schemes operate in demanding and sensitive regulatory environments. With deep commercial experience as a former executive director, Jill is fully appreciative of the sponsor’s position and is able to build and navigate strong, long lasting mutually productive relationships with all parties to a scheme. Jill is an accredited professional pensions trustee.
When she’s not got her head in funding and investment plans, Jill is a keen walker who is inspired by mountains and countryside. She has a keen interest in charitable good causes and combines both as a volunteer for The Cinnamon Trust.
