Jonathan started working with Capital Cranfield in 2013 having worked in Pensions and Investments for the previous 25 years.
Jonathan started working as a Trustee in 1991. He started helping owner managed business manage their self-administered schemes. As his career developed, he built up a broad range of experience with larger defined benefit and defined contribution pension schemes, advising both trustees and corporates on pensions and investment matters. He has always had a strong affinity with members and is a strong communicator. Jonathan has developed a broad portfolio of clients. He is happy and able to work in a variety of roles. Currently he works as: chair, co-trustee, on sub-committees/working groups and as the representative of the sole corporate trustee.
Before becoming a Professional Trustee, Jonathan was a Partner in a national accountancy firm, advising a portfolio of DB and DC clients. Prior to that he was a director and shareholder of a regional pensions and investment consultancy.
Jonathan has BSc in Sports Science from Loughborough University and remains an enthusiastic participant as both a coach and player in a variety of sporting endeavours.
